Sharing Your Character

Loreden gives you several ways to share your character — whether you want to show off your sheet to a new party, let someone copy your build, or post a clean PDF to your campaign Discord.

Character codes​

Every character has a unique character code — a short identifier in the format WRD-XXXX (for example, WRD-4B2A). You can find it displayed on your character's profile.

Character codes are the easiest way to point someone at your character. They can enter your code on Loreden and go straight to your character page. They're also used by other players to link your character in family trees or relationship entries without needing your full profile URL.

You can generate a shareable link directly from your character page. Share links come in two flavours:

View only​

The person you share with can see your full character sheet — everything including your bio and roleplay fields — but they can't copy or clone it.

This is the right option for sharing with your GM, or for linking to your character sheet in Discord.

Copyable​

The person you share with can view your sheet and clone it to their own Loreden account. They'll get a copy they can edit freely — it's completely separate from your original.

This is useful for sharing character builds, pre-made characters, or class-specific templates with your community.

  1. Open your character's profile
  2. Click the Share button
  3. Choose View only or Copyable
  4. Copy the link and share it however you like

Share links can be revoked at any time from the same menu.

PDF export​

Want a physical character sheet or something to post as a file in Discord? Loreden can generate a filled-in, print-ready PDF of your character.

Click Export PDF on any character to download it instantly.

Public character page​

You can make your character's profile publicly visible at a vanity URL. When set to public, anyone who visits the URL can see your character sheet — no Loreden account needed.

Toggle this on or off at any time from the Share menu on your character page.

Privacy​

Characters are private by default. Nothing is visible to other users unless you explicitly share it through one of the options above. Loreden never exposes your characters to others without your action.
